Helping John get back on his feet

I am reaching out to my friends, especially those in the Greek System and those with children .  My sons friend and fraternity brother John suffered a serious accident September 30, 2016, in Corvallis.  He broke every bone in his face from the orbitals down.  He also broke his pelvis amongst other injuries.  John is lucky to be alive, he fell on his face which probably saved his life and or caused him not to suffer brain damage as the face cushioned the brain.

John is recovering at Legacy Emmanuel.  He has had several surgeries to reconstruct his face.  The surgeons did an amazing job putting him back to normal.

However this does not come without cost.  John's mom Lisa Kittleman lives in Colorado where John is from.  She has been by his side since she got that awful call, living and sleeping in his room.  John wants to recouperate at a rehab center in Portland, near his doctors and his fraternity brothers who have been his support.

The moms club at Sigma Chi OSU is trying to help raise funds to offset the additional living and rehabilitation expenses.  We are appealing to all those in the Greek System...who were in a house or  have had or do have, children in the Greek System to stand with John and his family.  John's  mom Lisa is a Delta Delta Delta.  Lets show people that we Greeks are so much more than just 'animal houses' as the media portrays us.

The funds will go directly to Lisa who will use it for rehabilitation expenses and allow her to live in the metro area for 2-3 months while John recouperates, boarding her two dogs in Colorado etc.
