Helping Helpaws Save Puppies

This last Christmas while on vacation in St. Lucia with my family I met the most wonderful little dog we later named Luci. As my mother and I have no self control we decided we had to bring her back to the US so she would have chance to live a wonderful life. Moving a dog overseas is no easy task and it would never have happened without the help of the local rescue Helpaws . These wonderful women helped us simply because of their love and devotion to the animals on the island.

Since then I have followed their rescue on social media. This organization, and those who works tirelessly to save as many animals as they can, are simply amazing and the hard work they do to save animals from off the street until they are happy little fur balls with new families in Canada or the US is a joy to watch.

This year for my birthday I realized the thing that would bring me the most joy would be to help them continue to help puppies find forever homes. I love following the journeys and this year that is all I want for my birthday. 

They currently are caring for close to 50 animals and in order to spay/neuter, feed and medicate all these animals they need serious help. So anything you can give will help immensely. Maybe one day, like I hope to, you will also find yourself adopting a potcake for yourself!
