Haylie had received a letter from John C. Mather, PH.D. with a Certificate of selection for award from the National Academy of Future Scientist and Technologists,

She was selected for recognition as a Delegate representing Shepherd Hill and the commonwealth of Massachusetts at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders to be held on June 29th to July 1st, in Boston, Ma.
The Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders is a highly selective national program honoring academically superior high school students dedicated to careers in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) .
She is being recognized because of her outstanding grades, her leadership potential and her desire to contribute to the field of science or technology. She was selected through their academic partnership with Washington Adventist University.
The Congress of future Science and Technology leaders is an academic honors program with strict requirements, and you must have a minimum 3.5 GPA (or equivalent) either current or cumulative to attend.
At the Congress she will come face-to-face with winners of the Nobel Prize, the most prestigious award in the world. Deans and Professors of the top universities. World leaders in science and our nation's most innovative and successful technologists and award-winning young inventors and scientists. For three once-in-a-lifetime days of awe-inspiring motivation, excitement, friendship and education. She will be guided by some of the greatest Minds in science and technology men and women who are literally leading Humanity into miracles of the 21st Century. Distinguished world leaders in science and technology will personally be mentoring the delegates of 2017!
This program will help her make long-term friendships with those who share her dreams and passion, other young people like her who want to truly make a difference and devote their Futures to changing the world through Science and Technology. She will discuss and observe state-of-the-art inventions and be inspired by world-changing researchers, futurist and technologists.
They will be helping her prepare a news release announcing her selection for our local TV stations and newspapers and will provide copies of her award certificate and letters confirming her selection and attendance for her to share with the colleagues and universities of her choice.
The education motivation and recognition at the Congress can Inspire her to take the personal action necessary to become a much stronger candidate for competitive college and graduate school admissions. Attendance at the Congress can also enrich her academic profile by adding to her Showcase of extracurricular experience and achievements when she applies to colleges and universities and visit them for interviews.
This is something she has worked so hard for! She earned it! And she deserves it! And I can not tell you how proud I am of her!!
After reading the letter and all the information for parents packs, the term and condions and the enrollment form....
I need to enroll her no later than November 14, 2017
Tuition & overnight program, if paid in full is $1785. Which only covers her 3 day 2 night stay and onlu breakfast.
Or I could make monthly payments of $654 and pay a total of $1962
BUT if you enroll by Oct 17th you'll receive a discount of $300
This is not including possibly need a rental and the gas, food, 2night stay at a hotel for myself so I'm able stay in town with her and attend the award ceremony and be there for the 3 day event to support her. It's embarrassing to admit that Im stuck in a hard place right now, with 3 of my chilrens birthdays right around the corner, along with the holidays, I honestly don't think I can do it in the short amount of time I have :( I'm trying to do everything i can to make this happen for her but id never forgive myself if she missed this because I couldn't get the cost of tuition before the enrollment dead line. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. She will benefit from this event in so many ways and with out a doubt in my mind, she can and will make a difference in this world if given this chance.
