Helping Clients in the Community

As many of you know, I have recently had the honor and privilege of being named as the Program Lead for "My Journey Forward" which is a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program that serves the adult members of the Mental Health Community within the Hampton Roads Area.
In addition to the members of this community dealing with diagnoses that impact their daily lives, they often face issues with not being able to afford some of the daily essentials that we are used to. 
Let me explain what I am seeking specifically. With our day program, we are able to take the clients into the community to learn about different things and integrate in various social settings; however due to their limited income and resources, they are not always able to pay. We would like to make such trips and activities available to them as well as make any and all efforts to assist them in times of crises.
Some of the places that they have gone already are:
The Mariners Museum
Buckroe Beach
Fort Monroe
Bowling at Langley

We would love to be able to take them to places like the Air and Space Museum or the Living Museum which would increase their educational experiences. It is my hope that the program where we currently serve 20 clients, will continue to flourish and grow exponentially within the next year, and it is my goal to provide the clients with the most rewarding opportunities that they can have.
