Helping Refugees on TX-MX Border

Our team of love warriors is heading back McAllen Texas on August 30th to serve at the McAllen Humanitarian Respite Center (run by Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley). We will be there for 4 days.  Our amazing team includes Rebecca Wilson, Moyo Ajaja, Jackie Claudet-Mitterer, Dotti Singhal, Jerri Yoss, Christian Yoss, Jennifer Engels and her son. 

We know from our previous service trip, their greatest need right now is volunteers at the respite center and they *always need supplies*. The need is great every day. The center serves 100-200 newly arrived adults and children a day who literally have nothing - just the clothes on their back.

We are channeling our heartbreak and frustration over the lack of immigration reform and the cruel separation policy that was implemented in May 2018 into action and service. We are putting love into action.

100% of the funds we collect through this GoFundMe campaign will go to purchasing supplies and meeting the needs of the center.
