Naomi's Gender Transition

My name is Naomi and I'm a 17 year old transgender girl who is trying to live her life as her real self. From a a very young age I've felt uncomfortable or out of place with my body and mind. After staring puberty I really realized how bad my gender dysphoria had gotten and I knew I had to change that. I could not go on any longer lying to myself and others so at the young age of 15 I started puberty blockers and then estrogen, in fact unfortunately recently my hormones have been cut off because of unsupportive parents and a conflict with their insurance. As much as hormones have helped me feel more comfortable with my body I know that after surgery I truly will be able to be who I want to be.  I live in Canada where bottom surgery is covered only for the cost of the surgery but not the ticket to Montreal (it has to be done there) or my stay as I recover. Normally someone would turn to their family for this but unfortunately I have very unsupportive parents who don't believe I am sane for making these descisions which as a teenager is really heartbreaking . I also would like to get permanent hair removal done on my face to get rid of beard growth and pay for my documents to be changed. As a girl who is passionate about going to university after I graduate high school, the costs of my transition and my tuition together is so much. Reaching my goal would mean letting me pursue my post secondary education much quicker and living my life comfortably and improving  my mental health by bringing down my dysphoria. I would greatly appreciate any amount of donation as even a little can go a long way in my long journey to become an adult and become the real me!
