Hello, my neighbor Amanda Wrobel lost her house and most of her fur babies to a fire today. Amanda is in ICU with burns to her hands and face from trying to rescue her pets. One of her dogs was unharmed but two of her dogs had to go to the emergency vet with burns. The rest of her dogs and cats didn't escape in time. Her house and everything in it is a total loss. I'm hoping the community can pull together and help her get back on her feet. Any donation helps no matter how big or small. Please put the state you are donating from so we know how far this has reached and where all of this love is coming from

Update on Amanda.... She has burns over 40% of her body and is in a medical induced coma because of the amount of pain she is in. She has a long road ahead of her. The two dogs that went to the vet will be ok but they are keeping them for a few days to make sure the burns don't get infected.

I am amazed by the amount of support this community has provided in just 1 day. Thank you all SO much! Please keep sharing this page and keep sending prayers her way!

First I want to say Amanda is one brave girl! She risked her life to save her babies. I also wanted you all to know know Amanda had her first surgery today. It went well. It took three hours due to the severity of the burns. They put a tempoary mesh on her hands to try to get them ready for grafting. Her next surgery will be Friday where they will start the skin grafting on her hands. She has a long road ahead of her and will need positive thoughts and prayers sent her way.

Update from Amanda's mother.....Good Evening all we just left Amanda at the hospital.. Compared to yesterday today was a much better day. The nurses told us that she was bright for a while and nodding her head yes or no to some questions and that she was a little perkier, of course she tired herself out and slept the whole time we were there. But that's ok with me because she looked much better today. ❤

So amazed and proud of you Amanda!!! Wishing you a very happy birthday! When and if you're up for it sometime I'd like to connect you with a female veteran I met from Embrace A Vet who happened to mention to me her dream to set up an obstacle course, etc to train dogs while in foster care at her home. She's a neat lady and I told her do I have a special person for you to meet. It's in the planning phase and would be at her home but nothing would start to be built until the Spring. Something to think about. Sending you a big hug and miss seeing you!
