Baby Girl Heart Surgery

Jeff and Jodi McKee have set up this fund for Jeff’s brothers family and will handle it while they tend to more weighty matters. It is for Justin and Renee McKee and Baby Leona Grace McKee. She is expected December 26, 2017. She has a hole in her heart that requires surgery in the first three months of her life and perhaps even before birth. Her Mommy Renee has severe gestational diabetes. There are three other children in the home, 2nd grade girl, kindergarten girl, and a three year old brother. The family lives in Missouri and will have to relocate to Portland Oregon before the birth for necessary care and stay through the surgery and recovery period doctors say. The surgery will be at a Children's Hospital in Portland Oregon, specialists in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. Daddy Justin will have to leave his job and needs to be with the family to take care of them while Mommy Renee focuses on health for her and baby. While they are tending to this birth and it's complications, the bills remain, income is lost for five to six months and their home lease has to be maintained, so they have something to come home to. The family will now need a van to return home in as well since they will require 1 booster chair and three baby seats and room for the required necessities. Their current five seat vehicle will no longer fill the bill and is their only vehicle. They have also been caring for Grandpa and Grandma McKee (80 and 78 years old cancer survivors) who live with them. Hands full indeed. The family is totally strapped financially and is praying for and trusting in God and the good graces of others to help as they can. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and will be allocated with respect and prudence. Other family will look after Grandpa and Grandma while the young McKee family is in Oregon.
