Help Helena in her fight w/ acute myeloid leukemia

Helena began to feel ill on November 8th- a little dizzy, a little tired and thought it was the flu. A few days later she made the decision to go to the Hospital and discovered she had C-dif but there was something else going on.

Helena was then diagnosed with Aggressive Acute Myeloid Leukemia on November 11th, 2018.

The doctors are hopeful that she can beat this and have instructed her that she will start chemotherapy this week. She has a bone marrow biopsy to be scheduled in the next few days.
The bone marrow biopsy will give us a better idea of how aggressive of leukemia we are dealing with.
Based on her age and general health we are hopeful that she will beat the odds against her.  Helena does not have health insurance and needs our help.

Helena is a very special person , so special that it is hard to even explain in words. But we are going to try. 
Helena is made of sparkles, sunshine and immense depth. Helena is intriguing and mysterious while being forthcoming and honest. Helena "Hell cat"  is loyal and fierce. Helena is intelligent, creative and passionate. Helena is SPECIAL.

If you have ever had the pleasure of knowing Helena you know you can count on these 5 things- to say the least. 
1.) You can count that your cheeks will be sore and your belly aching because you haven't stopped laughing the ENTIRE TIME you have been around her. Her awkward dance moves, hilarious facial expressions, really bad jokes and ability to deliver honesty with a comical twist is pure magic.
2.) You can count on crying when you hear her angelic voice while singing. You can count on getting goose bumps. You can count on being moved by her lyrics that explain the intensity of her feelings.
3.) You can count on her becoming more passionate about politics, women's rights, voting and our health care system than most people. 
4.) You can count on growing as a person yourself. You can count on gaining more compassion for humans, animals, each other and basically anything that breaths. You can count on having more FEELING.
5.) You can count on a lifetime of a dedicated friendship beyond compare. You can count on someone who will lighten your load- who will take the weight off when it is too heavy of a burden to bear.  Who will take the shirt off of her back and give to you if you don't have one. Who will bend over backwards to express her feelings towards you and to make you feel special. 

Helena has a rough road ahead of her, but we believe the road will not stop here. This is yet a speed bump. We are going to speed, go too fast and catch some air over this!

Her future is so bright. Her voice needs to be heard. Her musical and song writing talent has so much to offer our world. We will not let her light dim. We need ALL the positivity, love and financial help to carry her over this bump in the road.

My name is Kerry Walker and I set up this account to help Helena with her living expenses. We met in South Lake Tahoe where I still live and miss her being my room mate everyday! We quickly became best friends and giggle partners upon meeting and have gone on many trips and adventures together ! The funds will be spent to take care of her  l living costs while not working and being able to live her normal lifestyle. Car insurance , car payment , phone bills , healthy food and other normal life expenses. Somali and I will be withdrawing the account and starting to move forward with getting her the funds she needs to feel secure during this hard time !
