Help Me Meet My Stalker In Court

Hello.

My name is Andrea and I am a freelance artist from western North Carolina.  I have been sharing my artistic vision online since I was a young girl.  When I was in my mid teens I had the unfortunate circumstance to meet a woman via an art / fan website for popular cartoon TV shows and movies by the name of "Kimberleigh".  Kimberleigh was taking the artwork of another artist and claiming it as her own; she was discovered and banned from this website after several other members got together and uncovered her deception.  Kimberleigh spent a few years "following" the artists that were instrumental in her being found out.  Unfortunately, I was one of the people involved.

Unfortunately for me, at that time and still today I use my real name with my artwork, and income from selling my artwork is my livlihood.  This has made it very easy for Kimberleigh to find out who I am, where I live, and many more details about my private life.  Over the past 15 years (yes, you read that correctly.  This situation has been ongoing for 15 years.  Half of my life.) the contact from this woman has come and gone in phases, however in the past 5 or so years it has rampped up considerably, to the point that she has gone so far as to write elaborate stories about how I supposedly have commited violent sexual acts against her while "we were in college", how she has lost jobs because of me, and probably the scariest of all, has created many webpages including Google maps screenshots of my home and address, with private details about my life and family, and written insane and disgusting accusations along with it.  She has done everything she can to attempt to sabotage my private life, going so far as to contact the animal rescue I volunteer my time at with accusations that I am a violent and dangerous person that harms animals and disabled people for fun.

To top all of this off, she has now began to claim that I have actually been doing all of these things - the things that she has been doing to me for countless years - to her.  She bosts that SHE is the victim, and I am the agressor, that I stole artwork from her and cost her a job at Disney or Dreamworks (this changes often, and sometimes will even be Apple or some other high profile company.)  She accuses me of being a sexual predator that raped her and writes long, lewd and graphic statements about her fantasy and sick sexual obsession with me.  

This entire situation has come to a head with Kimberleigh filing restraining order paperwork against me from her home state of California in an attempt to legitimize her claims that I am somehow harassing her.

That's where this GoFundMe comes in.

I'll admit it - I don't have a lot of spare cash.  The life of a freelance artist doesn't give way for many frivolous expenses, and having to buy plane tickets to fly across the country with little notice really isn't in the budget.

So I ask you: if you can spare anything, even if it's just a dollar, please help me out by donating.  Help me go face this horrible stalker in court and set in motion legal proceedings to make this stop.

I need to purchase this plane ticket within the next week, and it will cost roughly $500.  Any money that is donated over that will go toward hotel, food, etc while I am out there.  If there's a considerable amount beyond donated, it'll go toward hiring a lawyer to begin civil proceedings against this woman to make her pay for the now-years of harassment she has put me through.
