Give a kid a chance. Donate to children affected by hurricanes because sharing art is sharing healing!
Art is known for its healing and therapeutic properties. To help the more than 200,000 students whose lives were turned upside down by the devastation of recent storms (Harvey, Irma, Jose), I am sending a group of experienced artists to the affected areas. First stop: Houston, Texas in January 2018. But, I need your help.
Our goal: $25,000
Your donations provide art supplies for each of the more than 200,000 students, so they can fully take advantage of the healing process in their time of despair. For every donation, you will receive a free wire art class taught by master wire artist, Lonnie Q. Ingram.
Art allows students a chance to express themselves creatively and gain understanding of the fear, anger and depression they are experiencing now. We are asking for donations, whatever you can spare, to help a child in the affected areas.
If we receive a small donation of just $1 from 25,000 people, we will reach our goal!
