Nel 1980 la società sportiva ATA Battisti si è arricchita di una nuova sezione, quella della squadra di pallavolo femminile.
L'impegno per questo meraviglioso sport, dopo un breve periodo di assestamento, è stato intenso e completo in ogni settore. Partendo da un ampliamento e dal miglioramento della politica sportiva per la gioventù, in base a una programmazione concreta sulle giovani atlete, la società venne ben presto riconosciuta tra le più importanti in regione, con vittorie nel campionato provinciale e regionale giovanile (serie D e C), fino al salto sul palcoscenico nazionale.
In vista di un costante sviluppo della attività promozionale nella nostra città, si decise di dare alla squadra una migliore struttura, adatta ad una continua crescita.
Abbiamo quindi definito collaborazioni positive con aziende locali e create quindi strutture in grado di migliorare la preparazione atletica delle nostre giovani atlete.
- Il primo obiettivo è stato raggiunto con una squadra, l'Under 17 uno, vice-campione d'Italia nel 2004.
- Nella stagione 2009 un altro risultato di prestigio con l'Under-18 è stato achievede, il titolo di vice-campione d'Italia.
- La prima squadra, dopo aver giocato per diversi anni il campionato nazionale di Serie B2 (con il preciso obiettivo di formazione dei giovani atleti permettendo loro di "maturo" in una squadra) ha colpito quattro stagioni fa la promozione importante serie B1, (il campionato).
Molte delle nostre giocatrici hanno partecipato a campionati prestigiosi, come Raphaela Folie che ha giocato per anni con noi e ora nella massima serie A1 e nella Nazionale italiana.
Le realtà economiche del territorio, a causa della crisi economica, non riescono più a sostenere come una volta le società sportive, sebbene venga loro proposta la formula della sponsorizzazione, quindi con un ritorno in termini di visibilità.
Per continuare il progetto della Società, abbiamo bisogno di un sostegno finanziario, anche per via del netto taglio dei contributi provinciali, regionali e comunali.
Ogni società sportiva sta lottando per chiudere il bilancio, e lo stesso vale per la nostra società.
Siamo qui perché per noi questa è una vera passione, senza un ritorno economico. Vogliamo crescere le nostre atlete e avviarle alla vita sportiva quotidiana, creando amicizie che solo un lavoro di squadra può stringere.
Vi chiediamo di aiutarci con le vostre donazioni, per sostenere i costi principali della prossima stagione 2016/2017.
Molte società sportive hanno deciso di cessare le loro attività o di retrocedere, perché non ci sono risorse sufficienti.
Condividiamo la loro preoccupazione, pensando tutti i giorni come possiamo trovare un sostegno certo e concreto a lungo termine.
Una volta la pubblica amministrazione usava aiutarci maggiormente, riuscivamo quindi a non accumulare pensieri economici nel corso degli anni e iniziare la stagione sucessiva con più tranquillità.
Tuttavia, abbiamo deciso di continuare nel progetto di ATA Trento Volley anche per la prossima stagione, nonostante le difficoltà, affidandoci al vostro buon cuore ed utilizzando il sito GoFundMe per raccogliere donazioni e contributi.
Il nostro progetto coinvolge oltre 100 atlete.

ENGLISH VERSION
In 1980 the sports club Ata Battisti has been enriched by a new section, that of the women's volleyball team.
The commitment to this wonderful sport, after a brief period of adjustment, was intense and complete in every sector. Starting with an expansion and enhancement of its youth policy, according to a concrete programmation on young athletes, the club came soon the most important with victories in the provincial and regional youth championship (series D and C), until the jump on the national stage.
In view of a steady development of the promotional activity in our City, it was decided to give the team a better structure, suited to a continuous growth.
We defined positive partnerships with local companies and created thus structures able to enhance our young athletes.
- The first objective was achieved with a team, the Under 17 one, vice-champion of Italy in 2004.
- In the 2009 season another prestigious result with the Under-18 team was achievede, the title of vice-champion of Italy.
- The first team, after playing for several years the national championship of Series B2 (with the precise objective of training young athletes allowing them to "mature" in a team) has hit four seasons ago the important promotion to B1 series, (the league ).
A lot of our players participated in prestigious championships, like Raphaela Folie that played for years with us and now with the top division of A1 and today with the Italian National Team.
The economic realities of the local area, because of the economic crisis are struggling more and more to support sports club, even with the sponsorship formula.
To move forward the club needs financial support even after the cut of provincial, regional and municipal contributions.
Every year sports clubs are struggling to close the budget, and the same goes for our club.
We are here because for us this is a real passion, without economic purpose return. We want the athletes to grow and initiate them to the daily sporting life, creating friendships that only a team effort can tighten.
We ask YOU to help us with your donations, supporting the principal costs of the upcoming 2016/2017 season.
Many sports clubs decided to cease the club because there are not sufficient resources.
We share their preoccupation, thinking everyday where we can find certain support, because are in trouble too and because once the public administration used to help more small clubs like ours.
Nevertheless, we decided to try to go on with the club even for the next season, relying on GoFundMe to collect donations and contributions.
This is a growth project for 100 athletes.
