Help Ashe Fund Her Transition!
Hello!
My name is Ashe Haigh and I am a transfeminine person who wants to make changes to feel more comfortable and at home in her own body! I am currently in the process of accessing medical procedures and other cosmetic changes to achieve this goal, and I would like to ask for your support. I was assigned male at birth, which is an identity that I have never felt comfortable with or have had any distinct connection to in my lifetime, other than one of discomfort perhaps. I've realized over time that there is a disconnect between the way that I see myself and the assumptions that have been imposed on me by society based on nothing more than my body and how that supposedly defines who I am or how I traverse the world. This causes me a great deal of anxiety and depression, and I would like to make the necessary changes that are needed in order to live as my authentic self. I have never felt as though my body truly represents who I am as a person, and so I am seeking to make these changes to feel more connected to who I am as a person, and to be able to accurately convey that to the world around me. Some projected costs include hormone replacement therapy and laser hair removal, as well as any surgeries that I may want or require in the future, whether they are cosmetic or otherwise. The initial goal is to be able to fund laser hair removal treatments, because the largest contributors of dysphoria that I experience are connected to my facial and body hair. In order to support my mental health and to combat my dysphoria I would like to be able to start this process within the next few months, and I estimate that I will require approximately 10 treatments on my face in total. Laser averages at about 400 dollars a session, which would put the estimated cost around 4000 dollars without taking into account any additional follow up that may be required. I am a broke student who is currently swimming in loans and student debt, so anything helps, and I would be so incredibly appreciative to anyone who decides to contribute to my transition and helping me feel at home in my body.
