On the 29th June 2015 Ted collapsed at his home in Bangkok suffering a brain hemorrhage
Since 2003, Parhatsathid Napatalung or 'Ted' as he is affectionately known worldwide, has been one of the preeminent expert voices on integrative medical therapies for www.EarthClinic.com. Through his commitment to helping others and selflessly offering his expertise the site has grown from a simple blog to one of the world's top sites on alternative medicine.
Hundreds of grateful readers and friends worldwide have commend him as the one voice that was able to save them from debilitating illness when the rest of the medical profession had failed or given up. Through my own work in alternative therapy and over our years working together to educate with a view to teaching others how to help themselves I have developed a true friendship and immense respect for Ted's charitable work and was blessed to be Best Man at his wedding.
TED NOW NEEDS OUR HELP On the 29th June 2015 Ted collapsed and was taken to Bangkok's Bumrungaard Hospital. The Diagnosis was a blood clot on the brain and he underwent immediate surgery. The surgery was performed by Dr Yot, a well respected Brain surgeon. Ted responded well to the surgery, however he is for now paralyzed on one side of his body. Dr Yot is confident Ted may recover with therapy and we are praying this will be the case.
Following his emergency operation the below hospital bill currently stands at THB586,194 (approximately £11,173) THB400,000 of this has been paid by Ted's family but a balance remains the funds are not in place to pay this in full. Due to the inability to settle the private hospital funds, Ted had been moved from the Bumrungaard Hospital and is now out of the ICU and is recovering on a ward now at Bangkok's Petcharavej Hospital.
As Ted’s friends we are calling on all those he has helped in any way to step up and help raise the funds to cover his outstanding convalescent and recovery costs.
Lord knows there are thousands of us out there that Ted helped and tried to help without asking much from any of us......Now it is our turn.....
Please Note: Each and every penny raised will go in the first instance directly to the Bumrungrad International Hospital to clear Ted's outstanding hospital bill and we will share the receipt of payment on both here and on Ted's Prayer Group Page on Facebook . Any further funds will be delivered transparently to Ted's own account.
