Help Fatoumata escape FGM

No FGM Australia are a not-for-profit organisation who are acting on behalf of a little Australian girl to protect her from female genital mutilation.
Fatoumata is 3 years old, she is an Australian citizen and she is currently in danger of FGM in Sierra Leone.
Fatoumata's mother, also called Fatoumata, has fled her husband's family home in Guinea, as the family are insisting that the little girl undergo FGM.
This is against the mother's wishes.
The father has disappeared.
The practice of FGM is rife in Sierra Leone, and Guinea, where up to 90% of girls are subjected to the brutal practice. Fatoumata comes from the Fula ethnic group which insist that all girls undergo the practice.
We are now working with the Australian government to support Fatoumata and her mother to come to Australia.
Unfortunately the little girl has no family ties here. She cannot be near her father or his family due to the danger of FGM. The mother would be coming as an asylum seeker as she is not an Australian citizen, although Fatoumata is an Australian citizen.
No FGM Australia are organising for accomodation and support for the family in Australia. We have had the kind offer of some accomodation, however we need money to pay for the costs of living in Australia. This will include bills, food, travel and other expenses.
We need to show the government that the family have support when they arrive.
Please give as little or as much as you can to help bring this girl and her mother to Australia and save her from the horror of female genital mutilation.
Performing FGM on girls is child abuse, a human rights abuse, and causes lifelong problems or even death.
Please give Fatoumata the chance to live the life she deserves, without the ongoing suffering, and potential death, that goes along with FGM.
