Tesla’s battle with ALS
Donation protected
In November 2018 at age 27, Tesla was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis- a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement.)
She noticed something was wrong after having her daughter Harbor. She would fall & started having drop foot. Since being diagnosed she has went from walking to now fully wheelchair bound. Her upper limb function is starting to slowly decrease and her lung capacity is not at its fullest. She is to the point where she needs help at home for herself as well as her daughter while her husband Derrick works. He is also transitioning their bathroom into one that Tesla can use on her own. Trying to make things as handicap accessible as possible.
Tesla is the most positive person I think I have ever met. If anyone is going to get cured from this horrible disease, it’s going to be her!
She still has constant appointments & changes in their daily life every day. Any support will help this family.
Love & positive thoughts! ❤️
