Help with auto expenses

This GoFundMe is meant to help myself, my son Matthew, and Megan. We're having on-going financial problems that have been compounded by Matthew having a lot of recent medical problems.
Matthew and I are both on disability, though he's been working on, well, working. Unfortunately he's been recently diagnosed with spinal stenosis, which has also affected the ankle he broke over a year ago. He's started physical therapy, but it'll be a minimum of three months before there's a chance he'll be released to work. Megan is working, but she's had a lot of down/off time, while the factory starts shifting things around to open some new lines of products.
We need the funds as soon as possible. The car we have is an old one (it's a 2002 Buick LeSabre), with over 120K miles, and it badly needs maintenance: at the very least, a tune-up. We also need two new tires, a new battery, and to get the brakes/roters checked (there is a wonderful screeching/grinding sound that comes any time we step on the brakes).
A lot of the things need to be done as soon as possible. We've had the car for a little over a year, but haven't ever had the money to do more than make the payment, and get the oil changed a couple of times. But we had a tire blow yesterday, and it's frazzled all of us, and left us wondering how much longer before something major goes -- and that car is the only way of getting us anywhere (and presently that means to doctors appts for Matthew and work for Megan); we live in a town without any sort of mass transportation, like buses.
We would all be incredibly grateful for any assistance given to us, to help us get some of these things done. My family has helped us out so much, but they all have things in their separate lives that they need to care for. So I'm reaching out, hoping for some help to keep us going until Matthew's able to work again, and can get our finances stabilized. I know so many generous people -- friends and family alike -- and hope you all know how much your support and assistance means to us. Literally, it means the world.
