Help Vie become a celebrant

Many years ago, when my Pop died (the man I loved most in my childhood), I remember thinking at his funeral that we weren't at the service of the man I loved, as the person leading the ceremony wasn't talking about the man I knew. Since then, it has often resurfaced about how properly personal ceremonies, where someone takes the time to get to learn the person/people they are about, would be so much better. Since I found out about celebrants, I have wanted to be one.
Earlier this year (2017), a good friend asked me to help organise her husband's birthday party and to do their vow renewal ceremony. On 29th January 2017, it happened! The event was fantastic! The lady of the event beautiful! And the ceremony was wonderful! It has made me even more eager to be a celebrant. I got some wonderful compliments too!
But becoming an official one costs money.  The course I would like to do is an online learning one and, when I qualify, I could do any ceremony, from naming ceremonies to weddings, to vow renewals, separation ceremonies, funerals and memorials; pretty much anything where you would like someone to be a Mistress of Ceremonies. The course costs £985 (I have put £1100 as the total amount so that it covers the cost of fees of using this site).
I have set these pages up before; I have raised money for charities; I have raised funds to help friends out; I have lost count of the amount of GoFundMes I have donated to: but I have never asked for money for me. Following a Facebook post where I said how much I enjoyed my friend's ceremony and how much I wanted to become official, friends suggested I create an account and ask my friends to help.
So, I'm asking for your support. Please help me make this dream come true.
Some of you will know that I teach vintage dance forms; some of you will know that I have disabilities; because of the latter, I can't do the former for too much longer. Being a celebrant would bring me so much joy, just as teaching has, as I bring joy and support to others in all their important events.
I'm thinking that, for everyone that donates, I will offer 10% off of the first ceremony they book with me.
