Help Venezuelan Prof. Gio start PhD in Nottingham

Here is my uncle's story:

Hi! I'm from Venezuela, my name is Giobertti Morantes [Gio] and I’m seeking help related to funding part of my PhD studies @Nottingham University U.K.

Here’s a Little background about me:

Originally from San Cristobal in Venezuela, I am an Environmental Engineer with an MSc in Development and Environment and am currently working as a university professor at Simon Bolivar University in Caracas.  My research has been published in 6 national and international journals and has been presented in 12 national and international conferences. https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Giobertti_Morantes

My hard work amid the precarious conditions of our country has allowed me to earn three grants to attend courses abroad in Argentina, Costa Rica, and India. All three were amazing experiences, both academically challenging and personally enriching.

This year, I got accepted to the University of Nottingham (UK) for pursuing my Ph.D. Studies: Ph.D. Sustainable Energy Technology. My research will be focused on indoor air pollution. This has been an area of interest throughout my professional career and I have been developing a research profile in this area, including its measurement, modeling, control, and the assessment of environmental impacts.
--------Program starts October 1st, 2019---------

********I feel very proud and fortunate to have secured the Faculty of Engineering Research Excellence Ph.D. Scholarship which is enabling me to pursue this goal*******

This are the steps I have to afford, before I can start the program:

1) Taking the IELTS test: without the test, I can not apply for the UK- studentVISA and I also need to register at Nottingham [Costs 220 USD]     --------By July 15, 2019---------

2.a) Visa application:  apply for the tier4-student visa from outside the UK It costs £348 [~$440 USD]    --------By July 30, 2019---------

2.b) With the Visa, one has to pay an immigration health surcharge of £ 1200 [~$1518]                                       --------By July 30, 2019---------

3) Airplane fair from Venezuela to the U.K. might be ~£1200 [~$1518].                                                                                               --------By September 10, 2019---------

4) First month expenses before the 1st payment of the scholarship  £1015 [~$1282]                                                                   --------By September 30, 2019---------

In the current climax @Venezuela it is not easy to come up with this kind of money; I myself working as a college professor have a montly salary of arround 20 USD/month. Even by saving all my salaries I couldn't gather the money.

At this point, I’m turning to everyone that might be able to help; I cannot express how thankful I would be to everyone that could help me. I am so privileged for getting this opportunity and it exciting to be so close to achieving this opportunity. I just need your help!

The Ph.D. journey, although scary and challenging, it’s the path I have chosen to take, to improve my life and positively impact other's as well.

Would you help me get to the starting point?

Others way you may help:

If it is not possible for you to contribute with money, sharing this campaign in your social media would be very helpful as well.

¿Can you point me to the right direction? ¿Do you know of any part-scholarships for PhD? ¿Any NGO that you know of? Let me know!
