Help Us To Figure Out Whats Wrong With Sandy

Sandy is a sweet little mite that we rescued from an LA shelter where she was at the death’s door because she has a medical condition; she is wobbly when walking and needs her teeth cleaned.
When flew to us and she moved into a foster home, it turned out that things were much worse than we anticipated. She has a hard time waking and pees constantly, most of the time without any awareness, it seems.
The vet did blood work, X-rays, expecting kidney disease and possibly crystals in the urine, all showing us nothing at all...
Thus back to the drawing board, as we will need to run more expansive tests, as the vet expects it could be related to an old spinal injury.
In addition to that, poor little Sandy has teeth that need cleaning and most pulling out - fast a they bother her and cause infection in her mouth.
We are in desperate need of your support and help.

We take on these dogs knowing they need help, because no one else wants to. And we just can not turn our hear the other way and let them die. If we know there’s something we can do for them, we pull them out and worry later; now is when we worry.
In our hearts we know we do the right right thing and the struggle to pay for what these dogs need it’s completely worth it. As her foster mom says, watching Sandy being happy, trying to run, enjoy the warmth of the sun in the backyard or waiting for her to come back home and being one of the first little ones pushing her way thru as soon as she opens the door to greet her and give her kisses is simply priceless. We know even not knowing how we will be able to help her yet, we have already made her life better, despite the discomfort she is in.
