Help us find Jay the Macaw

Jay, the Blue and Gold Macaw has gone missing in Reading. We are currently out looking for her, and have been tracking her since Sunday evening (8th of July).

She was seen by 1 Parkside Road about 8am Tuesday, July 10th

July 11th, she was seen in the RG2 area, sitting on houses. The most recent was in Studland Close, then she flew towards Lidl in Whitley Wood.

Please spread the word, and keep a look out for Jay! Also, listen carefully, she makes a loud screech.

We still have a very good chance of getting her back, but only with your help. If everyone is looking our for her and can call us when they hear her distinctive scream, and vibrant colours.

We nearly found her twice on July 11th, only because people had seen our posts on Facebook and phones us as soon as they saw Jay.

The best chance of someone being able to call us when they see her is by us raising awareness that she is in the area, and how to get in touch with us. To do this we are paying to promote posts on Facebook, this is very effective, but also very expensive, we are currently spending over £100/day to raise awareness and would really appreciate help with the costs. The more we can afford, the faster we can make everyone in the area aware that she is missing and what to do when she is seen.
