Help Trudie Cover Sheffield Doc/Fest

Hello, my name is Trudie and I'm a 20 y/o Scottish writer. In my free time I publish film reviews, articles, and more (unpaid) for FilmEra - a small independent site. Last year I used my own money to attend Sheffield Doc/Fest , had a great time and it was the first thing I ever wrote about for a publication. I have been planning to go again in 2019 and cover the festival which means attending screenings, talks, etc. and writing about them every day for those interested in the voices the festival amplifies.
I would be covering the content for doc fans and getting to share the diverse catalogue with those who can't catch screenings. I'll see and write about as much as I can, with a focus on stories that tackle social issues. At FilmEra we don't have funds to send anyone to festivals, we do so out our own pockets. I'm looking for help with travel and accommodation from those who would like to help or those who would be interested in reading the articles I produce from the festival. I have never asked for money before, but my job is struggling to cover my bills and this so I thought I'd reach out.
I have taken days off work for the festival, and it will be my only trip for 2019 (retail life). I've calculated costs best I can, and am only asking for what I will struggle to cover myself (the trip will cost a bit more than I am setting this campaign goal for). I'm not expecting to reach near the goal, but any amount is a great help and contributes to the UK's indie film amplification and to a small time website.
