help tomi have a place to stay in a month

Hello everyone, this is Tomi/Seraph! I hate to yet again be in a position where I am in need, but the circumstances I find myself in are a bit more urgent this time around. For clarity, I’ll try to break this up as well as I can.

Over the last 3 months I’ve made huge adjustments in my life after ending a 3+ year long relationship with a mentally, emotionally, financially and sexually abusive man who was older than me. Because of my nature I was essentially coaxed into supporting him while he failed to get help for his addictions and refused to go to therapy. He expected me to be his ‘wife’ and raise his kid and hold it down for him while he failed to ever be a successful adult, and I made it known I was not having that. His abusive habits began to escalate and he ended up hurting himself while trying to hurt me. After ending our relationship I’ve dealt with harassing phone calls, text messages, him entering my space while I was at work, and him refusing to return my things to me. As of now (8/29), the last time he’s made contact with me was 4 days ago.

Though that is not the main source of my emergency, it has kept me from being in a healthy state of mind and many parts of my life have unraveled because of my depression, paranoia, and untreated adhd. I began working a full time job that takes almost all of my physical and mental energy. I’ve become more acclimated but I’m still struggling to manage my personal life after leaving this traumatic relationship.

On top of that, the lease for my house is up at the end of September, and due largely in part to an unprofessional and incompetent property manager, the two people who were set to replace my current roommates were not approved to be on the lease. I understand that it was probably unwise for us to have all our eggs in one basket but I was counting on at least 6 more months to prepare to move again. It’s unlikely that we’ll find roommates in time for the lease and in that case I won’t have a place to go. I can’t move in with my mom as she’s a hoarder and the house I was raised in is unlivable for me. My friend Verti and I are looking for places now, but there is no way I would be able to cover moving costs. I haven’t been able to maintain savings while working here, and I was able to treat myself to a trip that I paid for in july but my situation doesn’t reflect that now.  One of the gems of this location is that it’s literally a mile from my work location and that’s made my cost on transportation go down a bit.

(Update) My friend Verti and I have applied for a new house for rent. If all goes well, we could move in next month. However, the property manager where I live is very unhelpful and her inability to Do Her Job caused us to issue her with a 60 day notice of vacancy too late, so we have to pay for another month at this house. Our other roommates are leaving and have been gracious enough to help us but we still have to cover rent by ourselves, and it's $1750 between two people.

I currently don’t have enough to maintain myself until I get paid again. I haven’t purchased groceries in over 2 weeks and I’m kind of sucking at being a person rn. My main priorities with what I have left are getting to work and back and I still can’t afford that either. On top of that, I need to be prepared to move within the month. So now I am asking for $2500 to cover the costs of moving and for any rent/deposit I will need to pay up front. I’m hoping that the roommates I have lined up can actually all live with me. I just want help in preparing for the worst, in the event that I am not able to find housing. I appreciate all the help that everyone on twitter has offered thus far.
