Tiffany’s Journey to Walk Again

On September 6, 2017, my best friend of 31 years was shot 8 times by her husband in front of their 2 boys and almost lost her life. Tiffany was in the hospital for 70 days. During that time, we learned that Tiffany was paralyzed from the waist down. Unfortunately, Tiffany can not get a MRI due to bullet fragments still being in her back. Tiffany has gone through countless surgeries due to complications of being shot so many times. The medical bills are quickly adding up.
It saddens me to see my best friend struggle so bad. I am trying to help raise money for her for TWO reasons...
First, the insurance keeps fighting saying she doesn’t need a wheelchair. She is currently using a loaner wheelchair which is falling apart, literally. The wheelchair Tiffany needs is going to cost her $4400.
Secondly, Tiffany is going through aggressive therapy in hopes of walking again. The boys keep asking her when she’ll walk again so she is trying her hardest to make their wish happen! Tiffany attends weekly therapy sessions at Neurohope. Neurohope specializes in spinal cord injuries. https://www.neurohopewellness.org They even had Tiffany standing up on both feet! Unfortunately, insurance does not cover this. This is an additional $200 a month out of Tiffany and the boys pockets. Tiffany wants so badly to walk again and show her boys that you can achieve anything you put your mind to. Tiffany needs our help in this.
I cannot even begin to explain everything my best friend has been through the last year. The ups, downs, tears, fighting, hospital after hospital, the struggles and so much more. I have never in my life seen anyone with such determination as Tiff. Her positive attitude is contagious. She will walk again and find a way through hell or high water! She REFUSES to give up!
I’m not one to ask for charity, but this is a good cause. So please...every dollar helps. This story goes far deeper than what the above states. Please donate.
