Help the Tutwiler’s after Home Fire

$10,156 of $10,000 goal

Raised by 129 people in 3 months
On March 31, one day before Easter, Jerry and Donna Tutwiler lost their home to a devastating fire. This was not only a roof over their head but a place where their beautiful family was built and raised for over thirty years. Within those walls, there was so much love, laughter and memories that will last them a lifetime. Those memories will live on even after losing nearly all physical remnants and belongings. For those of you that know the Tutwiler’s, a GoFundMe page is not something they particularly want or asked for. But reality is, it will be a long time before their home can be rebuilt and belongings can begin to be replaced. In the mean time, they have nothing, other the love and support from family and friends. It will be a long struggle. For all the lives that have been touched by the Tutwiler’s over the years, they would never ask for any type of repayment, but I can ensure you that any little bit would help at this time and all would be very much appreciated. On behalf of their family, I can extend a thank you all for the words of encouragement and support.

To all- Thank you so much for the incredible support. You can continue to donate but I will be beginning the Go Fund Me process of withdrawing funds to me so I can hand deliver a check to my Aunt and Uncle. A personal message from my Uncle Jerry that I’d like to share with you all:
“At this time I would like to thank everyone who has given Donna and myself the incredible amount of support threw your love and prayers and financial support. We are so humbled and are overwhelmed that so many have reached out to us in our time of need. You often hear when tragedy strikes the best of humanity steps forward. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the compassion and concern that you all have shown. Even though we lost everything, no one got hurt. We will move forward, rebuild our home and begin new memories. At the same time, we will never forget all the love you have shown us. We will be forever grateful to all our family, friends, coworkers, and to all the former student athletes that I was so fortunate to have coached. God Bless you all and especially my nephew David, we love you!”
