On Thursday December 20th, 2018, a fire ravaged through the home of the Prokopenko family. The fire turned deadly as Alex Prokopenko, a 30 year old man from Marlboro NJ was killed in the fire. Alex was a wonderful guy with a huge heart and a whole lot to live for. He is survived by his mother and 2 sisters who are all hospitalized with shock and fire related injuries. The money raised through this fundraiser will go to help Alex's mom Marina, who is a single mother taking care of his 2 sisters. The family is now homeless and the money raised will go to help the family pay for funeral expenses for Alex and living expenses for a home in which they can all start a new life in. The family is eternally grateful for anything anyone can contribute to this fundraiser.
