A family of 9 has two young children (2 & 4 yrs old) fighting for their lives after getting run over during a high speed chase

Kyle Peltier (a dedicated father and US veteran) was playing with his 7 children on a sunny afternoon while his wife was taking a test. In an instant, he saw his children hit by someone fleeing police at 80mph. Two now face life-threatening injuries - a 2yo in critical condition and a 4yo whose brain is still bleeding.

I don't know the Peltiers (I have since been in contact with them for this fund) but, as a parent, I know the heartbreak that floods you when your child gets even a minor cut or bruise. I know the helplessness that grips you as you watch them sick or in a hospital. Yet I can't even fathom the magnitude of that pain for the Peltiers as their innocent children, in the middle of playing as a family, were run over and now hang on for dear life.

The Peltiers now face hospital bills, the mental toll of a criminal case against the assailant, and potential future implications of any injuries - all while trying to come to terms with this horrible event. Raising a family of 7 is not easy. Medical bills are not cheap (they're the #1 cause of bankruptcy). It seems to me that the simplest and most tangible thing we can do to help this family is to cover as much of their little ones' medical bills as we can.

Let's help the Peltier children as they fight for their lives.

***Please note that all funds go directly to the family. Nicolle and Kyle are the only ones who can withdraw from it, and were given full access on June 13th***

***After making a donation, a  separate drop down bar will appear for a "tip". This additional tip is OPTIONAL and goes to GoFundMe (not the family). If you do not want to tip GoFundMe, simply click “Other” and type “$0" in this tip section***

Kayden’s halo (the head brace in the photos) is off! From Nicolle: “53 days Kayden couldn't get a kiss or a hug from any of us not his dad, his sisters his brothers not me. 10 holes in his head two ribs removed to repair 2 separated spinal discs leaving his spinal cord venable to the possibility of death. His spleen removed leaving him vulnerable to sickness he will need to be on a daily dose of antibiotics until the age of 5, possibly longer. Today we got to hold our son and give him hugs and kiss his little cheeks. Tomorrow our sons and daughters will be able to hug their baby brother. And Kayden will be able to kiss and hug his baby sister 'baby anna'.“
