Help the Komoru Family

I am helping out a friend who is a family friend of this dear family. The Komoru family are loving  and generous to those around them and are a great company to be with. The family was initially based in Madang, Papua New Guinea, but have since moved to Buka, Papua New Guinea. Over a year ago, the father, Joachim Komoru, started experiencing back pain. After some time he became paralysed fom the waist down. He was then rushed to the hospital in Madang, Papua New Guinea where he was admitted for 10 days before being referred to another hopsital in the capital of Papua New Guinea, Port Moresby, for further tests. It was then that they discovered that Joachim had a compressed nerve, and was in great need of undergoing surgery. They then travelled to Singapore to undergo surgery. Unfortunately, the surgery, which involved a bone graft as the could not do more due to financial constraints, was not successful and Joachim's health continued to deteriorate. Having been subject to bed rest for over a year now has resulted in Joachim experiencing intense pain in his arms. Joachim has developed a pressure sore from the bed rest and is now in need of a waterbed. As Henao, the wife has had to become a full time carer for Joachim, their family business had to close and with that, their main source of income. In January 2018, the family relocated to Buka in Papua New Guinea and are living with family. Joachim is currently admitted at the Buka hospital where there is little access to physiotherapy services and he is in need of undergoing further tests and possibly more surgery. They need to secure enough funds to bring Joachim back to Singapore for further tests as the hospital in Buka only provides basic and limited services. It is suspected that Joachim will need to undergo stem cell treatment. Also, their daughter Kimberley Komoru who completed year 12 in 2017 endeavours to study a Bachelor of Business Management degree at Divine University. She is now unable to attend her first year of studies as they cannot afford her fees in their current situation. Please help the Komoru family bring their father, Joachim to Australia to undergo required tests and treatment he needs. And also help their daughter Kimberley continue her education and start her tertiary studies.
