HallMark Youth Association started in 1965 by the residents of HallMark. With the growth of Pee Wee Football in the area, they decided to build a field that would allow kids an opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of football. They purchased a few acres of land and decided on using an Eagle as their mascot. That was the birth of Hallmark Youth Association at Trimble Field home of the Hallmark Eagles.
Since then the Eagles have continued to soar. HYA has won numerous Super Bowl Championships in football, 12 National Championships in Track and Field. The association began a basketball program that has competed well in the city and currently working to add baseball as well. We have created a brand in the city that's synonymous with success.
Our coaching staff has mentored/coached annually over 125 football athletes recent notable Johnathan Gray (University of Texas). HYA has been a member of USA Football for 3 years. In track, we have been longstanding members of USATF and coach over 200 track and field athletes recent notable Charles Silmon (TCU/ USA Silver Medalist).
We grew from 3 boys’ basketball teams to 4 and added 2 girls’ teams for a total of 70 athletes. Our name is well known in the city, state, and nation and with your help; we can help change the lives for even more athletes.
Engaging children in sport is one of the most important factors in creating tomorrow’s leaders. It teaches teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Unfortunately, some children may not be able to participate in sports programs due to the costs involved and life situations that the children have no control over.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to buy helmets, uniforms and pay for fees of children ages 4 to 12 years old who may not be able to participate in sports programs due to the costs involved and life situations that the children have no control over. With your help, we can make so many children’s dream come true.
We would like to request your assistance in providing this opportunity to the kids of HallMark. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated.
