Help the Holmans

Lisa Holman and her three beautiful daughters suffered a loss that really can't be put into words.  As someone reading this, you likely already know what happened.  To be blunt... Jake is gone.  His death was a terribly sudden loss.  Completely unexpected and completely heartbreaking.  His girls no longer have a dad, and Lisa is doing her best to be both mom and dad to them. 

The struggle is real, emotionally and let's face it... financially.  Lisa has done an amazing job continuing to care for her kids and tries to stay positive.  However, the reality is their financial needs are becoming a huge burden and sobering reality. 

They have been out of their home since Jake passed.  Insurance has been helpful, but parts of the home have had to be completely remodeled and repaired before they can live there.  Unexpected out of pocket expenses are adding up quickly.

The bottom line is that Lisa is too modest to tell people they need financial help to get through this difficult time.  Money is needed to help restore the home to be a safe and comfortable space for them to return to.  Money is needed to help maintain a bit of normalcy while finding a new normal.  Money is needed to quite literally survive while beginning this new, unfamiliar chapter. 

I have no doubt Lisa will continue to amaze us all with her ability to navigate this challenge.  But, let's make it just a bit easier for her and the girls.  Let's eliminate some worry.  Eliminate at least one aspect of what keeps them awake at night.  While I commend Lisa on the AMAZING job she has done staying afloat these past months, the time has come where I can no longer sit by and not let those of us that love her and the girls come together to support them. 

Of course, well wishes and prayers are needed and appreciated as well.
