Help The Fur Babies Get A New Home

Miss J.La's Fur Babies Cat Cafe and Adoption Centre is Winnipeg's only cat cafe. We are not your typical cafe as we usually have anywhere from 25-35 rescued cats living here. We foster from local rescue Ksen's Kittens. Our goal is to find loving forever homes for each and every one of them.
The 28 kitties and I have to vacate our current location as the lease is up. We are officially out on October 31st, 2018. We are going to need to be out a few days before to clean etc.
We have looked at many spaces and things are going to cost more than expected. Most places require first and last months rent as a security deposit (having cats could mean a higher deposit). Structural changes to accommodate what we need for the kitties as well as permits and more.
These first two years have been amazing. I have met so many wonderful people. Made new friends. Gained great supporters of the cafe. But most of all I have gotten to be a mom to almost 100 kitties.
I didn’t realize how attached I would get to them. I have 28 kitties here that need a new home. They are counting on me to provide that for them. I am stressed and so full of anxiety. I want to believe we will all be alright but I’m scared. Our time is running out.
As of now I do NOT have a place for us to move to. We also don’t have the funds. We are continuing to search daily. If needed I will have to take anything to keep the kitties safe.
I cannot do this on my own so I am asking for help. We have set up a GoFundMe page. ANYTHING will help us. This is all for the kitties.
