Help the family of the murdered Taxi driver

Siem Reap Incident Report received the below story from a taxi driver who was murdered by two Japanese tourists. He leaves behind a wife and four children!! The story is so sickening that the administration of Siem Reap Incident Report has decided to raise money for the poor family who now has to deal with the consequences of this senseless murder.
I was asked to give a little more details on why I decided to help. Well, this is a very simple task. After having lived in Siem Reap for almost 3 years, I felt so welcome by this community, I struggled to go back to Australia. I have only a permanent resident visa, which doesn't allow me to stay abroad for longer. I don't know the family in person, but I don't need to! Most Cambodian families are so nice, the entire world can learn a lot of their culture and how to treat each other.
I am still very active via Facebook and assist where I can in Siem Reap. I just increased the target amount from $2000 to $5000 as per some suggestions of the donors. Once we have ended the campaign, the money will be transferred to a lady who resides in Siem Reap and offered to assist. I might be able to send the money direct via credit Union. To be honest, there are so many options, it doesn't concern me right now. I have another friend helping me who was able to get the current phone number of the family and the family was advised that there is a fundraiser arranged. Needless to mention that most Cambodian families don't have enough money to cover the funeral or all other expenses that follow. Again, thank you all for "chipping" in and at least give the family a financial assistance. Nothing can bring back the father, but at least we give the family a financial support.
