Help the Deen's with medical and home expenses

My brother-in-law, Doug Deen, had a stroke on June 17. On that morning, my sister, Tania, woke up to find Doug struggling to talk and move. After calling 911 and getting him to the hospital, it was confirmed that he indeed had a stroke. An MRI showed that Doug's stroke occurred in the pons, a part of the brain located in the brain stem. The pons coordinates balance in the head, neck, and body. It also plays a primary role in eye movement, sleeping, dreaming, digestion, swallowing, breathing, and the heartbeat. Doug had an echocardiogram at the hospital and the doctors discovered that he has a hole in his heart, which they say is the cause of his stroke.
The right side of Doug's body has been severely affected, he can not use his right arm and can only slightly use his right leg, and he is struggling to talk and swallow. It remains to be seen how much function he'll get back. He is going to have a long recovery that includes a lot of therapy.
Prior to having the stroke, Doug suffered from severe, chronic back pain. His L4 and L5 discs are herniated and he needed surgery to have them fused. He is in severe pain often but managed to work full-time through years of pain. Anyone who knows Doug, knows that he has always taken pride in providing for his family, preparing for emergencies and building a savings for them. It's really important to him that his family is taken care of. However, last year after injuring his back again and re-herniating his discs, he was off work for months and they needed to use what they had saved up to keep their house going.
Many things are uncertain, including whether Doug will ever be able to return to work. At least for the near future, he will not be working , and Tania will also not be able to work as she will be Doug's caregiver.
Please pray for Doug's recovery and if you are able, consider donating to help Doug, Tania, and my niece, Jessica, in this time of need. Even small donations are extremely appreciated! Donations will be used to cover any medical bills, medications, and therapies that insurance doesn't cover, as well as helping with their mortgage payments and bills so they do not lose their home. Also, please share this with your friends and family!
