Help The Barnyard Sanctuary!!

In the past 9 years, The Barnyard Sanctuary has taken in over 3,000 rescued farm animals, of which 700 call us home. During this time, we have grown so much, expanding our mission and our vision to heights we never originally even dreamt of! We have so many incredible plans in place and are wildly excited over the thought of starting to implement them. But first, we have a major obstacle to overcome.
While there are so many really great things going on here at the Sanctuary, an unexpected tragedy struck, which left us devastated, and we need your help. In December 2017, we lost our second major donor (he passed away) in one year. These two donors accounted for more than 1/3 of our entire budget! Then, the new tax law went into effect 1/1/18, increasing the standard income deduction levels, cutting our donations even further (ALL nonprofits are being affected by this). With algorithm changes from Facebook, our ability to raise funds on line has decreased significantly due to very few people seeing our posts. A year later and a long story short, we are still running in the red right now and need immediate financial support from our followers.
It has always been our goal to have enough monthly donors contributing, so that our bare bones base budget of $30,000/month was automatically covered every month. We are now 33% of the way there, but we need your help NOW!
We simply cannot get the budget any lower than it is. We have no office or office staff expenses, I personally have never taken a salary in all 9 years. Our employees make only $10/hour, as they do this job for love of the animals. The money we raise ALL goes for the care of the animals.
We are grossly underfunded, for a sanctuary our size. Other large sanctuaries, some with far less animals, bring in $3,000,000-$10,000,000 a year in donations! We currently have a squeaky tight budget of $360,000 a year, which we are very short on raising. We need to increase this.
We have been struggling with how to solve this monthly shortfall. The solution is simple- we need YOU to donate NOW and if possible, make it an ongoing monthly contribution. We have done so much for our community, and now we need our community to help us. If YOU don't help us, who will?

Every day for the past year, we have turned down 5-10 people A DAY with farm animals who need us. It causes us great anguish to think of the fate of many of these helpless animals. Please help us get back on track by donating, so that we can continue to save the lives of innocent farm animals.
