UPDATE: Hello everyone! We just wanted to say again how very, very grateful Shannon (and we) are for all your kind words, good thoughts, prayers, and very generous donations. Thank you all so much!

It has been overwhelming and heartwarming to feel and see all your kindness and generosity overflowing here for Steph, Shannon, and their daughter. <3

And, again, I personally and absolutely guarantee that all of these proceeds will go completely to Steph's wife, Shannon Johnson, and their daughter only--as she is the sole beneficiary of this campaign and is the only person who can withdraw any and all of the funds.

Whether is was $1 or $1 million dollars, Shannon and her family truly appreciate all of you and what you all are doing for Steph, her, and their daughter......and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. <3 <3 <3

----------------------------------------------------------------------
On Friday March 2, 2018 Anthony Stephan House was tragically killed by an unspeakable crime of violence when he was fatally injured by a package bomb placed on the front porch of his home near Austin, Texas.

Steph was a giving, generous, and loving husband and father as well as a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. His death has left his wife and their young daughter traumatized by his loss as well as emotionally devastated. His wife will now have to face life as a single parent as well as reassemble her home and finances to now raise their daughter alone.

Even with insurances, savings, etc., finances will be tough for his wife and daughter as they attempt to put their lives back together without Stephan. There are many unexpected bills now due to the crime (medical, funeral, etc.) as well as damage to their home that must be repaired, etc.

Any financial help that we can give his wife and daughter to help them in financially recovering from this unimaginable loss would be so helpful and greatly appreciated by them.  All monies collected will be given solely to Steph's wife to use as she needs/see fit to repair their life financially and give her a chance to grieve before having to return to work as a teacher.

Any donations left after that point will be used to help fund his daughter's future educational goals.  Steph would have wanted for his daughter to have the best chance to attain her goals thru college or other higher educational training.

Thank you for all your help and support of Steph's wife and daughter after this devastating loss. Your kindness and generosity is truly appreciated!

(specific names of the victim's wife and daughter have intentionally been left out/off due to the sensitive nature of this crime and the on-going investigation. Since the criminal(s) who committed this crime have yet to be found, we felt that for Steph's wife and daughter's safety, it is best to leave off their names for now. Thank you for understanding.)

And update to confirm for everyone who Shannon Johnson is (she is listed as who this campaign is on behalf of). This should clear up any confusion or questions.....

This campaign is in memory of Anthony Stephan House on behalf of his family and wife---Shannon Johnson and their 8 year old daughter.

Shannon and Steph had lived together and had a home they purchased together in Austin/Pfluggerville, T.X . for approximately 10+ years now or so. She simply had chosen to keep using her maiden name (that is why their names are different).

I hope this clears up any questions or concerns any has about where the funds from this campaign are going.

Again, Anthony Stephan House's wife, Shannon Johnson, is the beneficiary of this campaign and all it's funds. Thank you.

We just wanted to take a moment to, again, thank everyone so very much for your generosity and caring!

With your help and donations, we have surpassed our original $5k goal! This will absolutely help this family so much in being able to take care of the upcoming finances that they are facing and are responsible for (including medical and funeral bills) as well as helping to repair the damage to their physical home.

Emotionally, your outpouring of love, friendship, and family has also helped comfort them as you all lift them up in light and love during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you, again, for your continued support of this family in honor and memory of Stephan. <3

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you all so very much for your generous donations. Your kindness and caring is greatly appreciated!

Also, to help ensure people of who I am and why this page was set up, I am the close friend of Steph's wife for about 20 years now. She and I have been friends since we were both single ladies in college in Austin and have stayed close thru the years, growing up and growing our families together. I was there when she and Steph met, went on their first date, built their home and life together, and when their beautiful baby girl was born......and vice versa.......they were at my wedding, the birth of my son, etc. We even have vacationed together to fun places like Disney World together, etc.

We love Steph and his family like our family and have been devastated by this loss. I am heartbroken for Steph, my BFF (his wife) and their baby girl as my heart aches for them and how this has broken their beautiful little family.

We waited to set up this page until Steph's widow was ready. She is a very quiet and private person and this enormous loss has had her understandably quite shaken, overwhelmed, and devastated. And, again, I am not using her or their daughter's names on here until she authorizes me to (nor will I speak to the press until she authorizes me to) as I want to respect their wishes and help keep them feeling as safe as they possibly can during this very difficult time.

Again, thank you so much for your understanding and for all the generous donations. Your help and caring is truly helping lift them up in the spirit of love, compassion , family, and friendship.....which they really need right now. Thank you. <3
