Help Support Raphael Metzler

Raphael Metzler has been a dear friend to many and has helped a lot of people through the years, never asking for anything in return.  He makes himself available to anyone at the drop of a dime.  Although I'm sure he won't be happy about us  asking for help on his behalf, now is the time for everyone to come to his aid. He has taken care of and loved his father who suffers from alzheimers. Through his dedication of his father's care he has allowed his own health to suffer.  Today he was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious on the floor of his apartment.  He is currently at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany being treated for sepsis and undergoing tests to determine the cause and extent of both his infection and his internal bleeding.  Due to family circumstances Raphael has been unable to receive Medicaid and so he has no funds to pay for his hospital and any rehab he may have to go through.  He has never asked for anything but all of us who know him know there is no better cause than insuring Raphael can leave the hospital healthier and with as little cause to worry about his bills.  Any donation you can give will be greatly appreciated and any prayer you can say will be welcome as he continues to fight for his life.
