On Monday January 7th, an 87 year old woman was attacked and robbed in broad daylight. The man stole her purse and left her unconscious. Pat Scott is in the ICU suffering from extensive injuries. Once an independent woman, she will now require assisted living for the foreseeable future. The family is hoping to raise money for her medical bills and the care she will now require as she recovers from her injuries. 
Pat is a mother, grandmother and great grandmother to five, plus one on the way. She is a kind, generous and loyal friend who cares for all her friends in her building. Although she has been through so much her, her spirit has not been broken. She is a loyal follower of Christ and believes in the power of prayer. 
Her family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and donations. We are still praying for this man to be caught and held accountable for his actions, and for the safety of the community.

My name is Patsy Nagy, I am Pat’s granddaughter and namesake. I am from Colorado and until October of 2018 have lived within 30 minutes from my grandma, I am now residing in Texas and helping my family in anyway I can. I offered to start the gofundme on behalf of my mom and Uncle who have been by my grandma’s side since the beginning of this nightmare. The funds will be used for my grandmothers medical bills and any other needs she may have resulting from this attack, including nurse care, a hospital bed and ongoing physical therapy. At my grandmothers request the funds are to be transferred to her son John Scott for safe keeping, due to the robbery and her stolen debit card her account has been on hold as police continue their search for the attacker. She has asked that John who is also her power of attorney distribute the funds as necessary. We are so grateful to the donors who have made it so my grandma can focus on her recovery and not stress as much about finances.
