Hello, I'm Bonnie and I'm a practicing artist and have been picture framing and selling artist's supplies for almost 10 years. Those who know me in the Melbourne and Regional art scene know my passion for quality artist materials and how I thrive on sharing that enthusiasm to inform and encourage other artists and makers.
Having recently moved to Sunbury has highlighted the situation for artists and makers in Hume and in The Macedon Ranges, there is a vibrant and growing arts community but very few places that they can go for quality materials, raw materials, expert advice or truly exceptional customer service.
That's where 'The Alchemist Artist's Supply Store' would come in, an art shop that would be filled to the brim with professional quality artist materials, raw materials, unique stationary and studio equipment and would offer the highest level of service and advice for all of the amazing artists in the region. The store will also be able to host workshops, classes, lectures and artist talks to help local artists connect, engage and explore new ideas. I'd even love to run a small annual art prize to showcase the local talent.
I have a solid business plan, have met with all of my connections in manufacturing and wholesale and seen real estate agents and banks. Everything is lined up to start except for the funding...
Now that's where you come in, I am asking for a little financial support to help raise some of the 20% deposit I need to take out a business loan and make this store a reality.
I plan on opening this store in early 2018.

I'm not often one for asking for financial help, but this idea, this business, is what I want to do with my life. It's all I've wanted for the longest time and I believe that it can succeed with a little support, support for which I will be forever grateful.
