UPDATE: We have made the target. I am so touched by all the love, support and kind donations. This is really going to help Charlotte & the family. So a BIG THANK YOU from me. I truly couldn’t have imagined getting to this mark in such a short time. But it shows just how much Colin was loved by so many people. This is great comfort at this devastating time. UPDATE: It is with a heavy broken heart and great sadness that I have to update this campaign. My best friend Colin sadly lost his battle late last night after the medical team worked tirelessly to try and save him.
From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank everyone who has donated, showed massive love and support.
I want to continue this campaign to raise the initial target, so I can help Charlotte & his family towards laying my best friend to rest and with any financial support at this extremely sad time.
I truly hope everyone that has supported so far are happy for me to continue this and give something back to a man that has given so much for others.

I don't normally do this, but my best bud Colin Chapman needs your help.
Colin is the life & soul of the party. He is a true gent in so many ways that is always going out of his way for others. He is a man that has worked tireless over the years to help so many people less fortunately than himself. This includes raising thousands & thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK earlier this year to giving out survival packages to the homeless in London during the harshest of winters all out of his own money. There are so many things this man has done for others, he would do anything for anyone, anytime of the day & night.
But now he needs your help. I need your help.
Colin was involved in a horrific bike crash yesterday morning and is fighting to save his legs. At the moment, its 50/50 whether his left leg will heal and even doubts on his right leg too. He has crushed his pelvis, has a broken wrist, broken ribs, cracked chest bone, a slight bleed on the brain as well as many other things. Whether he makes a full recovery is still yet to be decided as its early days. Whatever the case, he will have a very long and painful road ahead . Which will include months and months in hospital. Then months and possibly years of rehabilitation.
This has really hit me hard, as my friend and someone I class as my family is being put through this. This is a good man who has done so many good things for others. So I want to do something for him, to help him with his rehabilitation process.
Why does he need your help now? As with like most people in the UK, we live day to day, week to week, month to month when it comes to monies. And Colin is no different. As a self-employed builder, if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid. This will not only help Colin, but his partner and family too to make sure he has the best possible care, but not lose more than he already has as a result of this.
Now he is going to be incapacitated for months, let's try and relieve one of his battles ahead, the financial pain of day to day living. This is the reason I have set up this Go Fund Me page.
I am reaching out to my friends, his friends and the people that know Colin, that know what a great, kind and caring man his is. A man that has helped so many others in his life to come together and give him the support he needs now.
I will support him to get him back to the man I know and love. Can you help me too?
