Snubbs was recently rescued by Calaveras County Animal Services after spending most of his life living in horrible conditions.
Before Snubbs was rescued he was used only for breeding, and he never knew what it was like to be loved or cared about. Snubbs didn’t even know what it was like to be outside in the fresh air. He lived his entire life in a small wired cage with almost no human interaction.
Even though Snubbs was severely neglected, he still has a lot of love for people! He is having a blast learning how to be a dog and really enjoys all the love and attention he can get.
Unfortunately the abuse and neglect that he suffered has left Snubbs with some major medical conditions that need to be treated ASAP. Snubbs is currently at a specialist Veterinarian in Sacramento and he is hoping to get his much needed surgery soon. We are reaching out in the hopes that we can get Snubbs on the right path to starting over and learning how special the love of a family can be!
