Help Sheena Succeed in University!

Dear everyone,

First, I would like to thank you for listening to my story, and if you would consider me to raise the funds I need to buy a laptop, this is really a big help for me especially with my studies. This is my second chance to attend college and I am forever greatful to those people who help me financially like allowances and etc. I am Sheena Japon from the country of Philippines. I am an irregular first year information technology student, and I hope you will consider helping me raise the funds for this expense.

Life has its ups and down; life would be unfair to you because of your perspective towards life. My life has been a roller coaster ride. I am the third child of our family.  A family that is complete and full of love. My father was a public servant in our community.  And my mother is a part-time day care worker. My father was a hardworking man; he did different jobs just to support the things we want, just to support our needs.

But there came the moment that I never expected to happen. My father had a cyst on his back and had an operation. Months passed by, the cyst came back again, and the poison spread all throughout his lungs.
My father was diagnosed with a lung cancer.
After months of struggle, my father died.
What an unfair life it is for me, for us,.
How could the 5 of us survive without him, especially when my father's family took all the inheritance and the things we had?
But then, I know that god will never favor us.

After finishing highschool I was sent to the southeast part of the Phillippines, just to continue college. I became a working student of our relative and, sadly, I just finished 1 year because the people who helped me can't afford to send me to school because they have a a finacial problem.

So I went back to my hometown and the fact that no one can support my school here, I have to work and live my life even if it is hard for me. I work any job even if it is not easy.. My mother also works different kinds of jobs just to support our daily needs. When I worked in Marine Conservation Philippines, I met different people all over the world. I met new people and they became my friends. I meet this woman who helped me find the real meaning of life which is never to stop dreaming.. It's been the unexpected moments that ever happen to my entire life. From those downfalls I had experienced comes a new oppurtunity to come.

And now I accept the reality that life is not unfair, we just have to live our life to the fullest because whatever happens has a reason.
And is for me a reason is to have a second chance, a chance to go back college...A chance to achieve my goals and dreams in life to finish my degree. It is really a good opportunity that our country right now is implementing a free tuition fee in the state Universities. Therefore I never skip the chance to enroll again. This is the chance to start a new chapter of my life.

I am an info tech student, and I really need your support to raise funds for me to buy a laptop because I don't have one. It is really a big help for me because this serves as my guide to learn new things and this is a big help for my studies.
I am hoping for your kindness and sincerity..
