Help Shaq get double ACL Surgery

Donations Needed! Poor Shaq Has been waiting at Contra Costa animal services for 11 months now with no adopter in sight! He is a very handsome three-year-old, 70 pound brindle pit mix who loves everyone he meets and is dog friendly. Unfortunately, we have seen him start to deteriorate and now he’s on light duty walks because there are days when he just can’t get up. From multiple sets of x-rays and secondary vet opinion we have confirmed he needs a double TPLO surgery from two torn ACL’s. The approx cost for this is $6000!! Even at $6000 that is already greatly discounted they our amazing vet Dr. Sandhu. I know this is a lot but we have raised it before and no dog deserves to be in this much pain. We will begin to look for a committed long-term foster or hopefully an adopter, but we need to raise the money. Even if another rescue was willing to take him on we would be happy to donate the money to his surgery. 

We have seen in the past that many people pledge but people don’t actually donate and the minute the dog leaves the shelter it is the rescues responsibility to figure it out and donations don’t come.
