This is post from group : https://m.facebook.com/groups/1701240053488967, please join the group for daily posts and updates of what's happening that prompted us to create this fund.Dear National + International people of Ibiza,
This is to let everyone know how we are looking to proceed forward in assisting the less fortunate here, on the island. We have found a place that can be used as a central spot to store and distribute food, clothing and other essentials. The people who are at the core of this organization have been previously homeless themselves. They are not funded by any govermental instituition.
I am asking YOU.
WE THE PEOPLE
MAN -KIND
To support is securing a central spot, that can be a sustainable project.

For those of you who don't know the story behind this, below you can read my post from few weeks ago...

IM ASKING FOR A CALL TO ACTION.
What's really going on
Homeless is a situation we expect to find in cities across the globe, however I was shocked and saddened to see how many people are struggling
RIGHT HERE IN IBIZA. The condition I saw were heart wrenching and made me very sad I had no idea that small children are living in such appalling conditions, lacking even the basics, e.g. Water, electricity, sanitation, the level of poverty is shocking.
yesterday morning I joined a group of loving selfless people (some of them had been homeless for up to 10 years) to deliver food and other necessities to homeless PEOPLE and FAMILIES, who are invisible to the majority of us.
There are approx 60 families living in utter poverty, and goodness know how many more that are under the radar, due to there fear and humiliation from others.
What sparked me to ask for this CALL TO ACTION was a met a young family of 6
4 children ages from 1 -13 year and the parents
are living on top of the water sanitation field hidden from sight in a concrete building approx the size of a chicken coop no electricity or water, ( unbelievably paying €400pm) its cramped inside couldn't even figure out how they were all managing to get in there. There is a constant flow of sewage directly outside the doors. Which have huge gnawing marks where Rats the size of small dogs try to get in whilst they sleep. The stench was just about bearable however I can't imagine how worse that will get as the heat increases and the amount of extra holiday makers arrive. Plus it's Got to be a serious health hazard for them children particularly a 1 year old.
The mother and children were so happy to see us arriving with food, totally humble, quiet, and full of gratitude. Inside I felt sick, and ashamed, that this kind of situation is literally right under our noses and this was only 1 of 10 families and people that day who were furnished with food, clothing, baby items and huge dose of love from the volunteers
I also Met another gentleman who was 56 with cancer walking to the hospital for treatment, he smiled at us and gave permission to go inside his home and leave the food, for which he added he was very grateful. When we did arrive where he slept I found a derelict old building that had been fashioned into somewhere dry to sleep. I was told that over the past several years 22 people have died and are buried in paupers graves. Phewwww
I could go on and on just about what I seen yesterday
I. Am asking is there anybody out there with somewhere that we use to store non perishable food, and couple of freezers and other essentials?
Also can I ask you think about paying it forward so others can keep the cars and vans delivering vital supplies to them who need it most.
I am going to find out how and what it will take to get this family outta there situation.
One thing that was constantly mentioned as I met more and more people, is that rent hikes have cause a whole host of people in becoming homeless.
This is the link for the incredible people who champion these unseen people.
Please contact and give support or contact me either way
WE ARE NOT BLIND
WE ARE MAN KIND
THANKS. To all of you who read this.
