Dudes!
I have taken on an impossible task.. perhaps I have bitten off more than I can chew?!..
I am to cross the country over 14 days starting the 18th March 2017..
5,500km's totally unsupported, solo, no team car, no massage therapist, dietician or chef. Just little old me, and about 90 other IndiPac racers set upon finding their limits, raising money for charity or setting world records. The money raise on this gofundme page is for food & accomodation over the 14 day period. Not for charity, but food and hotels (when I am not sleeping on the side of the road..)
Right now all I want to do is finish, and to do that I need your help.
The food bill is huge! Some places in the Nullabour ask for $90 for a bottle of water and a sandwich!
Obviously I will be stopping every now and then over the 14 days I anticipate it will take me... I need about 4-5 stops a day, taking in about 15,000kcal (about 6 x the average person...) That equates to 18 meals per day.. Yup it is expensive. I have plowed about $10k into this (new bike, equipment, insurance, entry fee, plane ticket to Perth, plane ticket home, kit, and so on..) but I am short.
Can you help? Every little helps so thank for time and extremely generous dontations! :)
Thanks dudes!
