Help Save Sumesh

Sumesh is an amazing individual who has dedicated his whole life to work for underprivileged children. Through his work with Reclink Australia, he has worked tirelessly to provide them with work opportunities, personality building through sports and a platform to hone their skills and talents. Many Monash University students were fortunate enough to meet Sumesh in India, and we were all inspired by his life-changing work and selfless nature.

Right now, Sumesh is in hospital in India fighting for his life after a serious accident that has left him with severe brain injuries. While Sumesh has no family to support him, he does have a wonderful group of friends that are rallying together to help and support him. We want to help raise the much-needed funds to cover the many brain surgeries that he will need and the long road to recovery.

We will be also be hosting a fundraiser and auction this Tuesday to raise money for Sumesh. Please come along to show your support (You can see the Facebook event details here.)

It is not every day we get an opportunity to help such a special person, and every donation will go a long way in helping Sumesh get through what is going to be a long journey to recovery.
