Help Save Senua from Lymphoma
Donation protected
Last week, we started to notice that Senua's lymph nodes in her neck were a little swollen. Over the next several days, the swelling increased incredibly quickly prompting us to make a vet appointment. We were seen on Friday, May 23rd. The vet examined her and said that she likely has Lymphoma; a rapid moving, fast acting cancer. We're still waiting for the biopsy and cytology results to confirm, but her initial blood work results already point to this worst case scenario.
Senua will die in less than a month without treatment. She won't make it to see her 4th Birthday.
The recommended treatment is known as the CHOP Protocol. It is a combination chemotherapy protocol, and is considered the "gold standard" for treating lymphoma in dogs. It offers the best chance of achieving remission and extending survival times, with 80-95% of dogs achieving remission and the opportunity to live several years longer (especially if the dog is young like Senua). However, it doesn't come cheap.
Being disabled and having zero forms of income means that I will never be able to afford even a fraction of the cost of chemotherapy. Hence why I find myself here; begging on my hands and knees to friends and family to hopefully help me save my whole world, and the love of my life.
She has saved my life more times than I can count over the last year, and I need to repay her for that.
I don't know what I would do without her.
