Help Save Ishaaq

My name is Farhana Nahed. I am a Canadian Citizen but born and raised in Bangladesh. I just returned from Bangladesh, and a Family emergency occurred. My maternal Cousin Samira and her husband were blessed with a baby boy this fall, but unfortunately  he has gotten seriously ill and over the past 5 weeks he has deteriorated. Doctors in Bangladesh have investigated conducting many tests, but have been unable to pinpoint the cause or best treatment for his condition. 3 days ago Ishaaq was air-lifted from Bangladesh to Singapore with a life or death medical emergency.
 He is on life support with a ventilator and central line. Ishaaq’s older sister, grandparents and extended family are devastated by this turn of events. Along with the heartache of watching their baby boy suffer, the parents were presented with a hospital bill for 2 days of  ICU care, tests, and all other associated costs, a total of 16,843.70 SAD ($16,777 CAD/$12,627 USD). Currently there medical expenses are over $50,000 SAD (see pictures attached )My cousin’s family do not have medical insurance, either personal or Government provided., or the financial resources to cover this expense. They must bear the cost of flights and day to day living expenses in Singapore as well as all medical and hospital expenses. In addition to Ishaaq’s dire physical status, there is now this added financial burden which is impossible for the parents and their families to bear. I am reaching out to my family and friends for their prayers as well as any financial assistance you can manage, to try and ease the parent’s burden and above all to help save Ishaaq.



The money raised will go to pay off the debt they have currently. I will withdraw the money and will send it to the parents in Bangladesh. Once the process is done I will also give you an update here.
