Humpty Dumpty, a beautiful bronze sculpture by artist Kimber Fiebiger, was featured in Sculpturewalk 2015, and has since been sitting on the amphitheatre wall outside the Castlegar & District Public Library, delighting all the children and families who visit him.
Recently he was vandalized and pushed off the wall, and he was very much missed by the community. We’re happy to have put him back in his place, and we are thrilled to announce that we have found a buyer! The purchaser would like to remain confidential until the details have been confirmed and a formal announcement made.
Due to this fantastic news, the nature of this fundraiser has changed from seeking a purchaser to raising funds to reimburse Castlegar Sculpturewalk (a non-profit) for the maintenance and repairs that were done since he had his fall. Let's show our gratitude and support to the Castlegar Sculpturewalk for their continued support of Humpty! Any and all donations are gratefully accepted.
