Help Ryan Waterman Beat Leukemia

After almost a year of being sick, extreme fatigue, and countless doctor appointments, Ryan was diagnosed with Leukemia in March 2018.

Ryan began chemotherapy immediately following his diagnosis. This began a grueling 10 days of treatment. 

After the first chemotherapy began, Ryan underwent further complications requiring him to be intubated for two days, finding out he was either allergic or unresponsive to pain medications, all while the Leukemia continued to attack his body - specifically his left eye and causing pupil spasms.

Now that his first round of Chemo is completed, Ryan's white blood cell count is at 0 and his platelets and hemoglobins are rising! This is important so he can go on to complete one more round of chemo finally followed by a bone marrow transplant.

Almost a month after his diagnosis, Ryan is now thankfully in remission, but has a long journey ahead of him after his bone marrow transplant and at least one year of recovery before he can even consider going back to work.

It was just found out that Ryan's sister, Helen, is a perfect match for his bone marrow transplant. While it has been a hard few weeks on the family, everyone is thankful to finally have a plan of action in helping Ryan beat Leukemia! 

Due to Ryan being out of work, still needing to cover his bills, and now accruing new medical bills, plus the basic everyday needs of his family commuting to and from the hospital daily - we are asking anyone who is in a position to help financially to consider giving to Ryan during this time.

100% of all donations will go directly to Ryan to help alleviate any extra stresses in this next year so he can focus on healing throughout the rest of his treatment and medical leave.
