Help reunite dad & his preemie baby @ the hospital

Every once in awhile there comes a family with circumstances that demands community mobilization. The time is now. We can reunite a father with his premature baby who is in the hospital, his wife who is recovering from surgery, and his young child. Without us a premie newborn is all alone in a hospital. *(For the privacy of the family, the names have been redacted by their attorney).
A father whose bond fund was fund-raised has not been released. After he was arrested, his lawyer called ICE and was informed that his bond was $1,500. We mobilized the community and raised the fund by last Friday. ICE would not release him on Friday and then informed us on Monday that his bond was set to $15,000. This is a cruel travesty. But one we can still overcome.
Why was the father arrested? He was picked up by accident. He was not targeted by ICE because he has no criminal record. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was on his way to work and then onto the hospital were his baby was born three weeks ago at 7 months. His baby is now in the NICU [premature baby unit]. His mother had surgery to save his life and is now on bed rest. She cannot walk. She cannot even visit her baby. And now she has lost her breadwinner and the only other person who can visit the baby.
She is all alone without your support.
For those of you who do not know, immigration bonds can only be paid in full by someone with immigration status. Or the family can pay a bondsman with their house as collateral.
This family does not own a house and does not have $15,000. They do not even have the resources to borrow $15,000. They need your help.
We are Durham. We are North Carolina. We are people who care. We are people who do not leave premature newborns alone in a hospital. We will not let ICE deprive a newborn of his parents. We will unite. We will raise the money to pay for this father's bond.
